Second Edition of ASCF Community Medical Outreach

It’s important for senior citizens to adopt healthy lifestyle changes in order to prevent the risk of developing illnesses as they age. A physiotherapist at the Sports Medicine Department of the Federal Ministry of Sports Development, PT Abdulsalam Kayode, emphasized the importance of lifestyle changes during a medical outreach organized by Axios Senior Citizens Foundation, an NGO. According to him, various health issues can be prevented in old age through proper lifestyle habits.

As we age, our bodies undergo many changes, and it’s important to take care of our health to prevent organ stress and other health issues. Kayode advised the elderly to always stay hydrated and monitor their body’s do’s and don’ts to prevent problems. By adopting the right habits, such as proper hydration, the elderly can prevent certain illnesses and maintain good health.
